Newsgathering

HD news is now a reality. It is delivered via digital satellite and electronic newsgathering solutions (DSNG and DENG) and covers everything from camera to uplink. Newsgathering involves video capture, buffering, format conversion or compression, and modulation. LOGIC’s Video Memory is optimized for the types of video buffering required in newsgathering applications. For example, a remote video feed is often required to be synchronized to reference timing prior to compression and modulation.
